Yiannis Karvelis

Yiannis Karvelis was born in Patras in 1964. He holds a degree in Law and Political Sciences from the University of Athens and holds two postgraduate degrees in “Business Management and Organization” and “Tourism Business Management”Executive of O.A.E.D. for 31 years, while eleven of those years he served the O.A.E.D. from the position of Managing Director (2008-2019). He has been President of the O.A.E.D. Employees Union. Peloponnese and Western Greece for more than a decade. Relinquished his union duties in September 2019, when he took over as Commander of the 6th Health Region.
He has published numerous articles in the electronic and print media on issues related to labor relations, the economy, management and innovation, while he managed with complete success the waves of the pandemic caused by the new corona virus when it invaded our country, from February 2020 onwards.
