Biography

Konstantinos Kollias was born in Larissa in 1976. He studied Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus and a PhD on the same subject from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

He is a visiting professor at the Democritus University of Thrace, Department of Economics, Partner at a consulting firm, Business Development Consultant at a Law Firm and member of the Board of Directors of the Athens International Airport, where he has also served as Chairman of the Audit Committee.

He has served as Special Secretary for Privatizations at the Ministry of Finance; Director General at the Educational Center for Public Servants of the Ministry of Economy and Finance; Alternate Governor of the Board of Governors of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), representing the Hellenic Republic; Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Gas Distribution Company S.A.; member of the Board of Directors of the Athens Urban Transport Organization; financial advisor to the Minister at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and visiting professor at the Athens University of Economics and Business.

In February 2014 he was elected President of the Economic Chamber of Greece for the first time and in January 2024 he was reelected President for the first time.
